Sunday September 19 is International Talk Like A Pirate Day. Keeping in the spirit and since we are off to Jordanhill on Saturday 18 September (potentially our only bus trip of the season), we plan to extend this by having a small Pirate based fancy dress fun extravaganza on the bus trip home on Saturday evening.
Everyone is to come dressed as a Pirate for the bus home. Note not the bus trip through to Jordanhill as we have the important business of a rugby game first.
All levels of participation are encouraged, from full blown pirate gear, makeup, wigs and chat to a simple eye patch for a poke in the eye.
There will of course be Pirate banter, Pirate talking and some booty for the best dressed Pirate. I envisage a stop at a Glasgow off license dressed as Pirates to steal some alcohol :-)
I have a feeling that there may be a plank involved, however only if Bawbag is selected for the trip.
